How the facility works
This combined cycle facility has an overall capacity of 857 MW. It consists of two identical units producing electricity and steam at three pressure levels, and it is fuelled only with natural gas.
Each unit consists of one gas turbine (GT), an alternator and a heat-recovery steam generator (HRSG). The steam generated by both units flows into one steam turbine (ST) with a coaxial alternator.
The electricity produced enters the National Transmission Grid at 380 kV voltage.
Environmental protection and safety
An SME monitoring system is in place for the continuous monitoring of Co, NOX and O2 emissions.
