Institutional and European Union Affairs
The Institutional and European Union Affairs Department is concerned with communicating, detecting and interpreting the indications and dynamics of the national and European political-institutional, administrative and association system, with the goal of anticipating and orientating strategic corporate decision-making.
Public and EU Affairs operates through offices in Rome and Brussels with the goal to communicate, detect and interpret information and dynamics of national and European political-institutional system to anticipate and steer the business strategic choices.
We maintain relationships with Italian Government and Parliament and in reverse in Brussels, with the Commission, the European Parliament and the Council, as well as with national and EU independent authorities, diplomatic and industry associations (Confindustria, Confindustria Energia, Assoelettrica, Assomineraria, Federestrattiva, Assolombarda, Unindustria, Eurelectric and Eurogas).
We develop relations with cultural political foundations and think tanks, both nationally and internationally (e.g. European Council on Foreign Relations, International Institutional Affairs, Atlantic Council, Institute for competitiveness, Arel).
We identify and propose opportunities for collaboration with institutional stakeholders of reference within public political events and/or institutional and we’re actively engaged in the debate on energy through research centers and think tanks.
