Edison official sponsor of the italian national rugby team during six nations tournament 2008

This year, as the past edition, Edison will be Official Partner of the Italian National Rugby Team.

This year, as the past edition, Edison will be Official Partner of the Italian National Rugby Team, to support its participation to the most ancient and prestigious worldwide tournament, the Six Nations 2008. During the inaugural match that will take place on February 2nd, the Italian team will face Ireland. They will come back on field on February 10th at Flaminio Stadium in Rome to meet the English lions. Then there will be two away matches, on February 23rd at Cardiff against Galles and on March 9th at St.Denis against France, winner of 2006 edition. On March 15th Italy will face Scotland. “We have been the first to believe in this sport, even before football decided to take as a model the rugby ancient rule of fair play”, commented Andrea Prandi, Director of External Relations and Communications of Edison. “the achieved results of the Italian team are a demonstration of their desire of victory together with a strong devotion.
