Edison to provide illumination for La Scala for the eight time in a row
Today Edison and historic theatre renewed their cooperation at Palazzo Edison for the 2017 première of La Scala.
Milan, 7 July 2016 – Edison will provide illumination for La Scala theatre for the eighth consecutive year. Today Edison's CEO Marc Benayoun met the CEO and artistic director of La Scala, Alexander Pereira, to renew their cooperation for the La Scala première of the 2017 season.
Edison also consolidates its long-lasting relationship with the theatre, which dates back to more than 130 years ago when Giuseppe Colombo, the founder of Edison, provided electric lights to La Scala for the first time in its history.
