Edison Open 4Expo wins international CEA Award
Edison's cultural programme for innovation, art, economics, and science throughout the six months of Expo received an award from Communicate Magazine in London. This adds to the Cultura+Impresa (Culture and Business) award and the Bea Award, and further reiterates the strength of this scheme.
Milan, 22 June 2016 – In London, Edison received the Corporate Engagement Award for the best partnerships, sponsorships and communication strategies of European businesses. Edison won Best sponsorship activity to raise brand awareness thanks to Edison Open 4EXPO, its varied cultural programme aimed at opening a debate on innovation, arts, science, and economics throughout the six months of the Universal Exposition.
Here are the motivations given by the international jury, selected by Communicate Magazine: "Throughout six months, Edison Open 4 EXPO promoted an impressive series of cultural, scientific, educational, artistic, and music events in the Edison Foro Buonaparte HQ. By bringing together some of the brightest minds of our century, this event was a great way to retrace Edison's history with interesting initiatives with a broad involvement. Alongside concerts, educational and networking events, the programme was characterised by the Innovation Week, a wonderful series of events on state-of-the-art technologies at Palazzo Edison. [...] A wide-scale sponsorship activity which has certainly boosted the exposure of the Edison brand".
