Edison: Marco Peruzzi assumes the responsibility of the sustainability, institutional affairs and regulation department
Edison is pleased to announce that Marco Peruzzi, the Chairman of E2i Energie Speciali, is taking over the role of Executive Vice President of the Sustainability, Institutional Affairs and Regulation Division as of October 1, 2019 and becomes a member of the Executive Committee of Edison. Marco Peruzzi is also continuing in his current role as Chairman of E2i Energie Speciali, the investee company of Edison and F2i and the second wind operator in Italy.
Marco Peruzzi, graduated in Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, began his career with the ENI Group, participating, amongst other experiences, in the group’s transformation in view of its Stock Exchange listing. Peruzzi joined Edison in 2001 and over the years has held positions of responsibility in many of the company’s business areas: he founded and developed the company Edison Trading, which manages the trading of gas, electricity and derivative financial products for the group; two years later, he took over responsibility for the Supply & Logistic Gas area and in 2009 he began Edison’s activities in the energy efficiency segment. In 2013, Peruzzi was named CEO of Edison Energie Speciali, a company from which E2i Energie Speciali was later founded, and of which he has been Chairman since 2014. Marco Peruzzi is now responsible for Edison’s Sustainability, Institutional Affairs and Regulation Division, which oversees relations with institutions, energy sector authorities, national and international institutional stakeholders, and the management of sustainability, corporate social responsibility activities.

Marco was also the architect of a number of successful initiatives in the history of our company, such as our entry into the Power Exchange, the development of energy efficiency activities and the launch of our renewables business through E2i Energie Speciali. With this additional role, Marco will be a key player with the entire Edison Executive Committee in leading the company towards the energy transition.”
Peruzzi is taking over for Marco Margheri, who is leaving the company to pursue new professional opportunities. The company warmly thanks him for his significant contributions and his valuable work over the years.
