How the facility works
The facility consists of a gas turbine (GT), an alternator and a step-up transformer (for the GT), a heat-recovery steam generator, a steam turbine (ST), an alternator and a step-up transformer (for the ST), along with auxiliary facilities, including a water collection and treatment facility. The electricity produced in the power plant enters the RTN (National Transmission Grid) at 380 kV voltage.
Environmental protection and safety
The facility is equipped with an SME (continuous emission monitoring system) to monitor CO, NOX e O2 reference emissions by means of a fume analyser with alarm threshold.
